MARCUS PADLEY ON INSURANCE INDUSTRY ROYAL COMMISSION FINDINGS – “this industry has been rooting us for years”
Marcus Padley comments on the Royal Commission Insurance Industry findings on ABC Breakfast News. Marcus comments that the Banking Royal Commission is proving itself to be a revelation in highlighting issues, not only in the Banking but also Superannuation, Financial Services and now the Insurance Industry sectors, despite his fears that it was going to be a “politically driven waste of time”. “This industry has been rooting us for years” he says and he is optimistic that the commission will “cut all the Shonks out of the Industry”. Marcus Padley is concerned that “this (the Insurance) Industry has not been adding enough value”. Another example of lack of value was recently highlighted by Marcus Padley is his article for the Sydney Morning Herald – “How lazy financial planners get money for nothing.”
Marcus Padley’s comments could be criticized by some for being a tad on the blunt side, but social media responses from the public are generally highly supportive and thankful for him “telling it like it is”
